OUR LUSCIOUS PLANET WHEN: Five Wednesdays in June TIME: 7 p.m. This June, the Washington, D.C. Chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier will host a culinary journey around the world, showcasing global ingredients and cooking techniques. Led by celebrated chefs, renowned cookbook authors and expert culinary instructors, each week guests will be whisked away on a virtual tour, complete with in-depth cooking demonstrations and expert wine or bespoke cocktail pairings from expert sommeliers and mixologists. Proceeds from the five-part series will not only benefit Les Dames grants and scholarships programs, but also Thrive D.C., a local nonprofit partner that provides meals and works to prevent and end homelessness in the nation’s capital.
